The Heart is a Castle to Guard

Jeremiah 17:9 exposes the traitor within us when it says, “The heart is deceitful and desperately wicked.” No wonder Proverbs 4:23 tells us to “Guard your heart with all diligence.”

The heart is a castle set among enemies without,
Harboring a traitor within.
A guard must be on watch at all times.
